Former BitMex CEO Arthur Hayes has released a bullish report on Ethereum, giving the Layer-1 token a 2022 target price of $10,000. “ETH is a commodity used to power the computer, not a pure monetary instrument,” said Hayes in a recent blog post, claiming that his target allocation for 2022 will be heavily focused on ETH with 75% versus a 25% allocation to Bitcoin. His prior allocation, at the beginning of 2022, was 50% ETH and 50% BTC.
