Crusoe Energy, which repurposes lost fuel energy for crypto mining, will begin operations in Oman. Oman exports 21% of its gas output and aims to eliminate gas flaring by 2030. The American corporation will create an office in the capital city of Muscat and install gas waste capture equipment. Chase Lochmiller, Crusoe’s CEO, said the first trial project will debut this year or in early 2023.
