Within days of a New York ruling to place a ban on crypto mining, another US city is looking to promote it like never before. Fort Worth in Texas has made a record by becoming the first city in the United States to officially start mining Bitcoin using three Bitmain Antminer S9 mining rigs. These rigs have been donated by the Texas Blockchain Council and are supposed to provide a bullish sign from the state to promote cryptocurrency enthusiasts and researchers.
