An Indian government official said the country is almost done with a consultation paper on cryptocurrencies. Talks with domestic organisations have taken place regarding the crypto consultation papers. The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) were also consulted he added. But it is not clear if this consultation paper will have any effect on the country’s crypto laws. The laws have not been shown in parliament yet.
