Panama has legalised the use of crypto as a mode of payment for a transaction. However, cryptocurrencies are not legal tender. Further, the Panama law treats crypto-related income as a foreign-sourced income. Foreign sourced income is exempt in the country. This means that there will be no capital gain tax on crypto transactions.
